Summer LookBook – High Low Dress!

Its more fun in the Philippines 🙂 . Living in a country, which comprises of 7,104 islands I’m surrounded by beautiful white sand beaches, blue waters and mesmerizing views. So a fashionista like me will never miss an opportunity to capture this beauty in my blog posts 🙂 .

I love this tube high low dress from 2b Bebe. It’s such a versatile number that you can dress it up or dress it down. Since I was in a relaxed beach location and strolling around gazing at the mesmerizing sunset I paired the dress with this beautiful statement necklace (which I picked up from a street market in Mumbai, India) and the chunky cuff bracelet from a local market in Fort, Philippines (I’m loving my travelling life right now 🙂 ) . Wear it with high heels or wedges and give a glam look; or pair it with flats/gladiators and give it a very relaxed resort/summer look.

Bold Stripe Dress! Collaboration with eShakti

Coming from an Asian country I grew up in the world of customizable fashion! My mom designed my dresses when I was a kid (that’s where I get the little fashionista in me 🙂 ) and got it tailored. So when I moved to USA, customizing your clothes (or anything) is a dent in your pockets. And when eShakti contacted me for a collaboration I couldn’t stop jumping with joy cause a) its my very first collab as a fashion blogger and b) I found a virtual online store where you can customize your dress the way you want it!

eShakti are true to their tag line “We design, You customize”. All the latest fashion of spring/summer 2015 can be found on their site. So I picked up this beautiful bold stripe, black and white dress and customized it to my style! That’s right I choose to go for a short sleeves instead of going for the elbow length sleeves the dress originally had; went in for till knee length instead of above the knee and added pockets!! 🙂 You can choose whatever way you want your dress to be modified to. If it’s a long dress and you want it short, no problem you got it! Don’t like the boat neckline and want something V or U neckline in the dress, it’s a cakewalk. Loved a full sleeve dress but wished it was sleeveless no worries the sleeves are gone! Its like your wish is their command 🙂

Since summer is just around the corner, I kinda tried it to style in my look too! By pairing the dress with this beautiful coral-white-blue color statement necklace, these oh to die for coral pumps from Kenneth Cole, which was a Fabfound from Marshalls to extenuate my legs 🙂 and my ruffled black clutch from Call it Spring. You can pair it with a bright coral color envelope clutch too. It’s a perfect office wear, formal lunch/dinner or fancy lunch/dinner. And due to the bold stripes it makes you look slimmer 🙂

Bloom like a flower!

With spring in the air and summer just around the corner its perfect time to get sun kissed 🙂 . Floral prints are loved by everyone and always back in fashion during spring. I loved this simple effortless dress from Shoppers Stop Mumbai,India. I love floral prints and how you can dress it up for a day date or dress it down for a brunch or weekend stroll around the city.

Since it’s a printed dress I always try to keep accessories as minimal as possible cause I don’t want to end up looking like a hot mess by chunking all the accessories and killing the prettiness of the dress. And with warm tone colors like in this dress, I accessorized it with gold dainty long necklace from Forever21 and bracelet from Stella and Dot. As I was going for a simple look I paired it with Tory Burch sandals and black leather sling purse, which was a fab find from TJMax.

Remember my beautiful ladies simplicity is the key to beauty. You should wear the dress; it shouldn’t be other way round 🙂
